Mary Frances Green (Reed)
November 17, 1931 - March 6, 2010

Mary Frances Green, 78, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at her home.

Mrs. Green was born November 17, 1931, in Pine Bluff to James Early and Katie Pearl Wooley Reed. She was reared and received her education in Pine Bluff, where she attended Pine Bluff High School.

Mary Reed married Jimmy Green on December 11, 1948, in Pine Bluff. Mr. Green passed away on August 14, 1997.

Mrs. Green worked for Safeway for several years before retiring.

She was a lifelong member of First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, sweet and loving mother and grandmother.

Her survivors include a son, Jim " Ronnie" Green and wife, Joyce Anne of Pine Bluff; two daughters, Sherry Gray and husband, Bart of Huntsville, and Donna Hawthorne of White Hall; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Zelma Hankins of Eureka Springs, and Emma Jean Procell of Pine Bluff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, James Reed.

The family will receive friends Sunday, 2:00 to 4:00 PM, at Robinson’s.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, March 8, 2010, 2:00 PM, at First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church with Reverends Chris Garner and Rick Etheridge officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery near Rison.
