Rhonda Lee Galloway Procell, 54, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
She was born December 13, 1955 in Fulton, Missouri, daughter of Bill and Mary Higgins Galloway.
Mrs. Procell was reared and received her early education in Jefferson City, Missouri. She graduated from the nursing school at Nichols Career Center in Jefferson City.
After moving to Pine Bluff, she worked as a LPN for Dr. Coleman at White Hall Family Medicine.
Rhonda was a member of First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, where she managed the nursery for many years.
She loved spoiling her grandkids, fishing, collecting Camark pottery roosters, reading the Bible and Jesus.
Rhonda was giving and forgiving in nature.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Procell was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Patricia Ziehmer.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Procell, whom she married December 1, 1990 in Jefferson City, Missouri; son, Micheal Genger (Stephanie) of Porter, Indiana; daughter, Tricia Genger of Jefferson City, Missouri; two step-sons, Brandon Procell (Christie) of Wichita, Kansas and Barrett Procell (Winter) of Little Rock; two brothers, Tom Galloway of Jefferson City and Bill Galloway, Jr. of Holts Summit, Missouri; sister, Belinda Van Nostrand of Jefferson City; ten grandchildren, and her favorite dog, Wendy.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 11, 2010 at First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Garner officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Robinson's.
