In loving memory of

Louise Reed Smith
October 8, 1931 - February 2, 2010

Louise Reed Smith, 78, of Pine Bluff, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 8, 1931 in Rison, daughter of Tommie and Eunice Roberts Reed.

Mrs. Smith was reared and received her early education in Rison.

She was a member of First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, homemaker and loving mother.

Mrs. Smith loved growing flowers, cooking and taking care of people.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Smith, whom she married March 7, 1955 in Greenville, Mississippi; parents; two brothers, James "Buddy" Reed and Wilson Reed; and a sister, Inez Merrill.

Survivors include three sons, James Smith, Phillip Gardner and Lloyd Smith, all of Pine Bluff; daughter, Linda Mauk of Kentucky; two brothers, John Reed of Star City and Leon Reed of Rison; three sisters, Lois Ashcom of Dallas, Texas, Bertha Wasoff of Dallas and Sarah Lockwood of Mabelvale; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2010 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Chris Garner and Reverend Dewayne Roper officiating. Burial: Rowell Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at Robinson’s.
